I was referred to Dr. Epley by MCDC. Lansing root canal staff was friendly and understanding. They got me in for my initial examination incredibly quick. The day after I was referred in fact! They also had an opening the very next morning to do my root canal which was such a relief because I was in a lot of pain. Dr. Epley was kind, gentle and precise. The root canal was over so quickly I couldn't believe it! One thing I will warn you about that I found alarming was how bad a dead tooth smells while being worked on. They don't warn you about that smell beforehand and belive me, if you're not ready for it, it is VERY disturbing! I still have flashbacks of being assaulted with that stench. But honestly, that's a pretty trivial thing in comparison with what a pleasant experience this was overall. Its about a month later and I've had my permanent filling put in. I'm pain free thanks to Dr. Epley's fine work and all the contributing staff at the Lansing root canal office. Thank you Dr. Epley! You are AWESOME!

I was referred to Dr. Epley because I have a cracked tooth. He determined that I needed work done that he could not do. However, he gave me 3 prescriptions to ease my symptoms and my pain and a lot of reassuring words. Wonderful bedside manner, very warm, well mannered and very professional. Kept me informed and answered every question I had. I would highly recommend Dr. Samuel Epley. And this East Lansing office is very clean, organized and support staff is the best. Thank you so much.

I have been to him two times for a retreatment and an actual root canal and honestly it was the best experience ever! Felt no discomfort like I normally would from my previous dentist. He is super kind, calm and does a great job. I would definitely recommend going to him. Best experience!

Just had a root canal done. I'm still numb in the mouth, but I just have to write a review because there's no reason for him to have so few. I've had fillings that were far worse than the root canal I got today. Another review said that he got "robbed in the lobby" but it's not getting robbed if you're getting all the bang for your buck! Would recommend to literally anyone trying to get a root canal with absolutely zero pain. Dr. Epley was super responsive to my requests and the one time I felt pain (wasn't even that much) he immediately gave me another shot that I didn't even feel and the whole thing was over in less than half an hour. Excellence!

Dr. Epley and his staff are AMAZING! They are personable, professional and so very kind! They go above and beyond to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Zero wait time which made me feel like they value my time as much as theirs. My root canal was pain free and done quickly. I highly recommend this Specialist!
